Packers sign 17-touchdown wide receiver to futures deal
Packers GM Brian Gutekunst Breaks Silence on Bo Melton Position Change 1 Green Bay Coach Matt LaFleur, left, talks with General Manager Brian Gutekunst during practice on July 25, 2025, at Ray Nitschke Field in Ashwaubenon, Wis.

The Green Bay Packers are aggressively filling out the bottom of the roster, entering the offseason, via futures deals in the aftermath of Saturday’s loss to the Chicago Bears.

One of the positions Green Bay has looked to upgrade this offseason, is at wide receiver, aiming to revamp quarterback Jordan Love’s supporting cast.

Packers sign wide receiver Isaiah Neyor to a futures deal

The Packers agreed to terms on a futures deal with wide receiver Isaiah Neyor.

Neyor, 6-foot-4 and 218 pounds, played his college ball at Wyoming, Texas, and Nebraska, where he caught 87 passes for 1,595 yards and 17 collegiate touchdowns, before spending the 2025 season on the Packers’ practice squad.

Green Bay clearly believes that Neyor has the tools to contribute meaningful snaps, after activating him onto the active game-day roster for Saturday’s playoff loss to the Bears.

Given Romeo Doubs’ uncertain future, with the veteran approaching free agency for the first time, and the Packers’ receiving corps largely comprised of young and ascending but unproven talent, Neyor could be in a position to push for a roster spot next spring and summer.
