The Philadelphia Eagles clearly have no plans to shy away from the "Tush Push" this season.
Following an offseason of contentious debate, the divisive quarterback sneak survived an offseason vote that nearly banned the play. Two days before beginning the 2025 season against the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles revealed a marketing partnership attached to the Tush Push.
The Eagles announced Tuesday that DUDE Wipes is the official sponsor of the Tush Push. The flushable wipes company will collaborate with the defending Super Bowl champions to provide product sampling at team events and produce content highlighting the play throughout the season.
"It only feels right for DUDE Wipes to be the official sponsor of the Tush Push," Ryan Meegan, CMO and co-founder of DUDE Wipes, said in the team's announcement. "We're always looking for bold and unconventional ways to inject the brand into cultural conversations in a distinctly DUDE-ified way, and this partnership is a perfect fit."
The Eagles posted a video on social media with clips of the Tush Push in action before their team mascot, Swoop, shoved a DUDE Wipes mascot.
"Everyone knows it," text in the video reads. "Everyone fears it. The world can't stop talking about it. And when it comes to handling the push, there's only one partner that's built for the job."
The Tush Push nearly didn't make it to see another season. After Philadelphia deployed the sneak throughout a title run, the league voted on a proposal to outlaw the polarizing play.
Nine teams (only two from the NFC) joined the Eagles in upholding the Tush Push, falling two votes shy of the 24 needed to pass the measure. Perhaps the powerful DUDE Wipes lobbyists helped the Eagles secure some key support.
Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni condemned the charge to eliminate the rugby-like scrum earlier this year.
"The fact that it’s a successful play for the Eagles and people want to take that away, I think it’s a little unfair," Sirianni said in February. "Just because it’s a successful play for us doesn’t mean that it should go away."
Expect Sirianni to direct Jalen Hurts and Co. to utilize the Tush Push (presented by DUDE Wipes) when the Eagles open the season against the Cowboys this Thursday night.
