SoFi Stadium in Southern California, the future home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, has seen its fair share of setbacks in an attempt to be ready for the 2020 NFL season.

The debut of the multi-billion dollar venue has already been delayed by a season. The COVID-19 pandemic is creating more recent issues.

Now comes this tragic news from a local Fox affiliate in Southern California noting that a worker at the venue has passed away from a fall on Friday.

Police confirmed the accident just before noon local time, indicating that the unknown worker was pronounced dead at the scene.

This is breaking news. As such, we’ll have updates as soon as they become available.
