Canucks re-sign defenseman to one-year contract

The Vancouver Canucks on Tuesday signed defenceman Cole Clayton to a one-year, two-way contract extension, according to a team announcement. Clayton, 26, spent the 2025-26 season in the AHL, appearing in 32 games for the Abbotsford Canucks, recording six assists (0-6-6) along with 27 penalty minutes and a minus-four rating.
