Deion Sanders seems frustrated Shedeur Sanders is left out of Heisman race

Deion Sanders has never been one to hold back his true feeling, so when his son, Shedeur, was left out of the Heisman Trophy race, you just knew he was going to have to say something.

Sanders didn't say much, but on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, he reposted a graphic that compared Shedeur to Oregon quarterback Dillon Gabriel, one of the four Heisman finalists.

While Shedeur Sanders does have better stats than Gabriel, it's worth noting that Gabriel helped Oregon go undefeated and earn the No. 1 seeding in the newly-minted 12-team College Football Playoff.

He beat No. 2 Ohio State, No. 20 Illinois and No. 3 Penn State this season. Meanwhile, Colorado had a great season but the Buffaloes did finish 9-3 and did not beat a ranked team.

While Sanders does seem disappointed that Shedeur isn't in the group of finalists, he does at least someone to root for. Wideout/cornerback sensation Travis Hunter is a finalist after notching 1,152 yards and 14 touchdowns as a receiver and four interceptions as a cornerback.

Gabriel and Hunter are joined by Boise State running back Ashton Jeanty and Miami quarterback Cam Ward.
