Mike Vrabel, Drake Maye and A.J. Brown could be the NFL's most fascinating trio

New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel was in the news a lot this offseason, and it wasn't for the right reasons. But, football is football, and aside from his personal issues, Vrabel is heading up the Patriots this season. Their goal? Get back to the Big Game. This time, they want to win it.

So, you have Vrabel, as well as star quarterback Drake Maye. Add wide receiver A.J. Brown, and that's a really interesting trio of personalities in the NFL. In fact, this trio could make the Patriots one of the most fascinating teams to watch this season.

In a feature out on Tuesday, Fox Sports' Ralph Vacchiano ranks every NFL team heading into training camp, and he has the Patriots at No. 5. That's good, but it would be nice to see them a bit higher. In his ranking, he notes that adding Brown to the scheme with Maye could be dynamite.

"Drake Maye was an MVP-caliber QB already, but getting an elite WR like A.J. Brown could bring his game to an even higher level," he says in the piece. "It won't be easy with a much more difficult schedule. But they should definitely be Super Bowl contenders again."

So, the one downside is that their schedule is harder. But, that's far balanced out by adding Brown to the lineup. This season should be a really exciting one for the Patriots and their loyal fans.
