Rams may need even more from Davante Adams in 'SNF' Broncos clash following Puka Nacua update

During Week 2 , Adams had eight receptions for 195 yards and two touchdowns, becoming only the fourth player in NFL history to record at least 195 receiving yards in a game during his 13th season or later, per Stathead research.

But through two games, Denver's played a higher rate of zone (56.3 percent), according to FTN Fantasy data, than man, which could play into Adams' favor based on his dominant Week 2. According to FTN Fantasy, Adams led all receivers during the second week of NFL action in yards per route run (8.83) versus zone.

It would be overly optimistic to expect Adams, who turns 34 in December, to duplicate his Giants performance this Sunday, particularly against a much better Broncos defense. But with Nacua's status in doubt, Los Angeles may hope he left something in the tank.
