What's Your DIN Setting? (Poll)

POWDER's very serious Department of Polls and Skier Opinion is back with another polling question to get your week started off on the right foot.

Today's question, which may spark a few spicy takes in the comments, centers on preferred DIN settings for ski bindings.

DIN, an acronym for Deutsches Institut für Normung (German Institute for Standardisation), is a standardized measurement of force required for a binding to release.

Recommended DIN settings are calculated based on a skier's height, weight, ability, age, and boot sole length, but many expert skiers opt for higher DINs to prevent skis from releasing in serious terrain.

With that in mind, today's poll doesn't ask for your specific DIN setting, but rather how you prefer your DIN set up.

You'll see what we mean. Vote in the poll below, and share with a friend!

*Editor's Note: POWDER recommends following the DIN setting chart or consulting with a ski shop professional before setting your own DIN.
