AC Milan have officially handed Samuel Chukwueze to Fulham, on loan with an option to buy reported to be worth €25m.
MilanNews.it claim that the total cost of the deal could be as much as €30m if that option is activated.
As expected, there is no obligation to make the move permanent if certain conditions are met.
The 26-year-old joined the Rossoneri from Villarreal in the summer of 2023 for €21.1m plus up to a further €7m in various performance-related bonuses.
Chukwueze made a total 70 appearances for Milan, contributing eight goals and six assists, but he never quite made himself a permanent fixture in the team under multiple different coaches.
“I’m so happy to be here. It’s an amazing club. It feels like home, because I have my people around me,” Chukwueze told the official Fulham website.
“I feel at home already, and I can’t wait to get started.”
He is a Nigeria international with 46 senior caps for his country, finding the net seven times.
Milan emptied out their squad this summer, selling or loaning amongst others Tijjani Reijnders, Theo Hernandez, Malick Thiaw, Noah Okafor, Emerson Royal, Alex Jimenez and Yunus Musah.
