Fiorentina have agreed to send striker Lucas Beltran to Valencia on loan until the end of the season, but there is no option to buy, while other Viola moves are in the works.
The centre-forward seems to have finally found his next destination, after weeks of being frozen out of coach Stefano Pioli’s project.
Valencia will take the 24-year-old on a dry loan for the 2025-26 campaign, giving him regular playing time as he hopes to be part of the Argentina squad going into the 2026 World Cup.
He had been close to clubs including Flamengo and CSKA Moscow throughout the summer, but was unconvinced by these ideas.
Valencia had also approached Como for Andrea Belotti to bolster their attack before Beltran gave the all clear.
Meanwhile, Fiorentina are also in negotiations with Monza for the exit of Abdelhamid Sabiri.
Hellas Verona are pushing for Amir Richardson, but so far the Viola midfielder is not ready to make that transfer.
