Bayern Munich have been eliminated from the FIFA Club World Cup as they lost 2-0 to PSG in the quarterfinals. It wasn't the only bad news Bayern fans received as Jamal Musiala suffered a scary ankle injury.
Just before the end of the first half, Musiala tried to take the ball from Willian Pacho, but PSG goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma rushed towards the ball. As he claimed the ball, Donnarumma brought down Musiala, which led to a serious ankle injury.

Musiala was subbed off by his manager, Vincent Kompany, and did not play in the second half. The crowd at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium booed Donnarumma for the rest of the game.
Musiala was stretchered off the pitch and taken to the nearest hospital. Kerry Hau from Sky Sports Germany reports that Musiala may have fractured his fibula. A severe fibula fracture typically can take between three to six months.
It was Musiala's first start for Bayern in three months, having suffered a hamstring injury in April and slowly gaining more minutes at the Club World Cup.
Kompany was asked about Musiala's injury after the game, as he will be set to lose a crucial player ahead of the new season that starts next month.
Donnarumma posted a post on his Instagram dedicated to Musiala, and the Italian goalkeeper feels ashamed for accidentally injuring the Bayern star. The PSG keeper wrote, "All my prayers and well wishes are with you," and tagged Musiala.
Alphonso Davies was livestreaming during the game, and his reaction to his teammate's injury has gone viral. Davies is currently injured, having suffered an ACL in his right knee in a game for Canada against the USMNT in March.
