Last weekend, Inter Miami defeated Nashville SC 5-2 at GEODIS Park. Inter Miami were trailing 2-1 at halftime, but a hat-trick from Lionel Messi led the team to finish 3rd in the Eastern Conference with 65 points.
Tonight, Inter Miami will host Nashville at Chase Stadium, which will be the first game of this first-round series of the MLS playoffs.
The last time both teams played each other at Chase Stadium was in July, when Inter Miami defeated Nashville 2-1. Lionel Messi scored a brace, and Hany Mukhtar scored for Nashville.
With no serious injuries after the previous match, the lineups are expected to be similar for tonight's match.
