Beppe Marotta says that Inter Milan are not planning any deadline day signings, and have not received any offers for Benjamin Pavard.

The Nerazzurri President spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInter1908, ahead of today’s Serie A clash with Udinese.

Inter Milan have made four signings so far this season. They have signed Petar Sucic, Luis Henrique, Ange-Yoan Bonny, and Andy Diouf.

Meanwhile, and just as significantly, young striker Francesco Pio Esposito has become a part of Inter’s first team squad.

There have also been plenty of other transfer rumours surrounding the Nerazzurri.

Most notably, Inter chased Atalanta forward Ademola Lookman for several weeks.

Then, Inter have also been linked with a number of defenders over the course of the summer transfer window. However, they have missed out on targets such as Giovanni Leoni and Koni De Winter.

Marotta: “Inter Not Planning Any More Signings, No Offers For Pavard”

Inter President Beppe Marotta addressed the status of Inter’s transfer plans before today’s Serie A match against Udinese.

“Inter’s squad is complete,” he said. “I don’t think there will be any more transfers in or out.”

The Nerazzurri President insisted that “keeping the spine of the team together is a positive.”

“Only strong teams can do that,” he said.

“The squad is solid in terms of numbers,” Marotta added. “And in line with our plan and goals, based on daily discussions we have with the coach.”

“First of all,” the Inter President noted, “it’s not easy to find players better than the ones that we already havce.”

“Most have great experience and are proven. Maybe they’re getting a little older, but that’s an issue we’ll address eventually.”

Marotta declared that “the defense is a guarantee of stability.”

“We’ll see what happens later,” he added.

Meanwhile, Marotta called the fact that Benjamin Pavard is out of Inter’s starting eleven this evening a “technical decision” by the coach.

He clarified that “there are no offers for him, and I don’t think we’ll get any tomorrow.”
