Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s new hairstyle has been unveiled, with the Gunners forward having paid a visit to Phil Foden’s barber.

It’s not often that Premier League footballers’ hairstyles become newsworthy, perhaps if they’re extravagant or just plain awful, but Foden’s trim for the summer had the whole of England on their feet.

Foden had his hair dyed bleach blonde ahead of Euro 2020, a nod to Paul Gascoigne’s barnet at Euro 1996, a historic tournament in English football history. Euro 2020 perhaps surpassed it.

The Manchester City starlet’s new hairdo was first unveiled by hd_cutz_london on Instagram.

Arsenal forward Aubameyang was clearly impressed by his work, with the Gabonese international heading to Foden’s barber to get his hair sorted ahead of the new season.

Unfortunately, Aubameyang hasn’t quite embraced English football culture to the point where he’s gone for the bleach blonde, but has had his hair braided, a new style for him.
