Paris Saint-Germain forward and "FIFA 21" cover man Kylian Mbappe is likely to miss his side's Aug. 12 Champions League showdown with Serie A's Atalanta due to an ankle injury.
Via an official statement, PSG explained:
As announced after the final of the Coupe de France against Saint-Etienne, Kylian Mbappe underwent further examinations to his injured right ankle. The results of today's scan confirmed an ankle sprain with damage to the external ligament. The player is expected to be sidelined for approximately three weeks.
The 21-year-old suffered the setback during Friday's Couple de France Final when Saint-Etienne captain Loic Perrin wiped him out with a horrific tackle.

Mbappe returned to the PSG bench using crutches before the match finished.
With the Champions League resumption set to run from Aug. 12 through Aug. 23, it's possible Mbappe won't be cleared to return until after the 2020-21 European calendars open.
