Report – 13 Inter Milan Players Called Up For FIFA World Cup Qualifiers During September’s International Break

As many as 13 Inter Milan stars will represent their countries in FIFA World Cup qualifiers during September’s international break.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via FCInter1908, five Nerazzurri players could feature for Italy against Estonia and Israel.

Gennaro Gattuso has handed Francesco Pio Esposito his maiden senior call-up for Italy.

In addition to the prodigious striker, four more Inter aces have made the cut.

Indeed, Alessandro Bastoni, Nicolo Barella, Davide Frattesi, and Federico Dimarco are on the list.

Elsewhere, Denzel Dumfries and Stefan de Vrij will represent the Netherlands.

New signing Manuel Akanji has found his name on Murat Yakin’s list for Switzerland’s matches against Kosovo and Slovenia.

Meanwhile, in South America, Lautaro Martinez will be part of Argentina’s team to take on Venezuela and Ecuador.

Despite already punching their tickets to North America, La Celeste boss Lionel Scaloni has called up El Toro.

Therefore, the 28-year-old will likely return late from the international break ahead of Inter’s clash against Juventus.
