Report – Inter Milan & Turkey Megastar Could Still Sign For Galatasaray

Inter Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu could reportedly complete a long-rumored transfer to Galatasaray in September.

According to Sky Sport via FCInter1908, Galatasaray’s interest in the 31-year-old is still very much alive.

Calhanoglu’s return to his homeland has been one of the major talking points during the summer transfer window.

Despite Inter’s ambition to keep the Turk at San Siro, the player did little to convince anyone about his desire to stay.

Therefore, Hakan Calhanoglu may leave Serie A this month.

Although the transfer window in all of Europe’s top five leagues closed yesterday, Turkish clubs can still buy.

With that in mind, the midfield’s switch to Rams Park is still on the cards.

Hakan Calhanoglu failed to join Fenerbahce earlier in the summer despite the Canaries’ strong interest.

Yet, he could sign for their biggest rivals.

Indeed, sources in Turkey continue to report about Galatasaray’s intention to lure Calhanoglu away from Italy.

However, Gianluca Di Marzio has failed to confirm whether any of those claims hold water.
