Nick Kyrgios has been largely inactive in professional tennis over the past year, mainly due to injuries.
Kyrgios did make a return to ATP Tour-level competition during the Australian swing, however, appearing at the Brisbane International as well as the Australian Open.
The former Wimbledon finalist lost his first-round match in singles in Brisbane and opted to only play doubles at Melbourne Park.
Now, after his campaign Down Under, Kyrgios took to social media to unveil a new haircut.
Kyrgios took to Instagram to post a picture of himself after going bald, with the caption: “Aerodynamic Kygs.”

The Australian has only played one singles match this season, which was a loss to Aleksandar Kovacevic in Brisbane.
He won a match with compatriot Thanasi Kokkinakis in doubles at the Brisbane International, but the duo were knocked out in the second round.
The ‘Special K’s’ entered the Australian Open together, and bowed out in round one to the team of Jason Kubler and Marc Polmans.
Since the conclusion of his successful 2022 season on the ATP Tour, Kyrgios has only made one appearance in singles at a Grand Slam.
He missed out on the entirety of the Grand Slam season in both 2023 and 2024, before finally returning to major action at the 2025 Australian Open.
There, he fell to Britain’s Jacob Fearnley in straight sets, losing 7-6, 6-3, 7-6 in front of a home crowd.
Kyrgios has not yet confirmed whether he will play at Roland Garros in May; a tournament he has not played singles at since 2017.
