Novak Djokovic, who has a towering list of achievements to his name, is expanding his legacy beyond the court by partnering with the world-renowned luxury hospitality group, Aman Resorts. Through this collaboration, Djokovic aims to share the principles that have fueled his success — from elite training and recovery methods to the mental strength that’s defined his career.
In this partnership, the Aman guests will have a special opportunity to spend time with Novak Djokovic on retreats. Another mammoth tennis personality, who is going to be invited to the retreats, is Maria Sharapova. Sharapova and Djokovic have long fostered a friendship on the tour, and it would be great to see them together as they share their experiences and lessons.
“I’m excited about the retreats we are going to do, where I’ll be able to share my experience, my know-how, with people who are interested to learn more about my training, my recovery, my mental strength training,” said Djokovic in an exclusive interview.
“Maria Sharapova is also a wellness brand ambassador for Aman, and I’ve been friends with Maria for a long time, so I hope we’ll be able to do some of those retreats together, because the impact would be even greater,” he added.
“We don’t know yet where or when”, said Djokovic. “As my active career is still ongoing, it’s a bit challenging with calendars, but I’m excited because that’s also going to help me develop and wire my brain to wellness and learn how to better express myself to the audience about well-being, while also growing my presence as a brand.”
As Djokovic looks to steady himself before Roland Garros, the retreat plan with Maria Sharapova looks to be an enticing prospect, especially for the fans.
