Dispatch! Dispatch! Calling all hands on deck, there’s a crisis downtown, and the water is – wait, did that person teleport out of here? What kind of town do we even live in? If this sounds like the kind of everyday thought you want to have, drag the mind into a wonderful world of fancy, then perhaps the upcoming game Dispatch AdHoc Studios is the game you wanna tune into this year. If you can picture what would happen if you replaced the police with superheroes being held together with the force of twinkles, trauma, and the tired desk jockey, aka you- congratulations, by the way, have fun leading them- then you know the kind of game we’re loading up.
Is one hell of a story, and no one knows that better than the shoes you don’t fit into, They’re not metallic enough right Mecha Man? Or should I say, Robert Robertson? In Dispatch all your hopes and all the effort you have gone through to create a superhero of your design, all that fanboying Tony Stark, has met a fiery end as your Mecha suit burned into ash and mortgage payments, leaving you helpless. Not to fear! At your darkest moments HR has your back..just run this team of reforming supervillains, send them out on missions to save the town, build up the team relationship and they’ll rebuild your suit! This time with more fireproof metals.
The team you have to worry about now, promises to be quite the treat, with well-known actors from all over entertainment, Dispatch goes all out finding the best people to bring his colorful comedy to life, expect familiar voices even for the youth, like Jackseptice, MoistCr1TiKaL, Aaron Paul, the even batman himself, I mean, Jeffrey Wright. With these people by your side..
So, as you can tell this is one of the best possible outcomes for you. There’s no way that all these people you’ve just met are complex individuals with opposing ideas, traits, quirks, needs.. different skill sets that need to be tended to and grown as they learn the job.. all you have to do is click and drag your chosen victim to the call and watch the magic unfold! Ohhhh maybe.. maybe sending the fire dude to the waterpark spillage wasn’t the most critical thinking out there..you’ll get it next time. Probably.
That might require some smooth talking quick time button clicking, as seen in The Walking Dead or The Wolf Among Us– which happens to be the makers of both games! Isn’t that neat? The choices you make, the words you say, or don’t say matter to the world around you. It could lead to the burning of the tower or the spark of flames far more pleasant than the fire that stole your livelihood. What you see of these people is all on you, the save button and replayability. Maybe a little bit of PTO. Try not to get punched, your heroes pack quite the wallop.
Dispatch is setting up quite the storyline here and it’s Anime style really heightens the world around it, bringing to home the charm and delight it’s filled with. The stuido while not being filled with the same people known for these kinds of games, has plenty of people directing it with the know how to pull it home, and frankly, it’s nice to see a game made to be fun! Also, real. Not perfectly one way or the other..just a guy who wants his suit back and the complex world of superheroes. A demo is out for the game, you luckily souls! Go! Save people! Keep your skin! Dispatch! Dispatch!
