Eye-Opening Content on XBox Game Pass Leaving for Good!

Sea of Stars was released in 2023 by Sabotage Studio and is a role-playing game. It is a fantasy game featuring the characters Valere and Zale. These characters are called Solstice Warriors and can harness the power of the moon and the sun. This game is particularly fun because it combines RPG with traditional gameplay mechanics. This game features a turn-based combat system. This game is single player currently. One thing to note about Sea of Stars is that it is very similar to the game Chrono Trigger. There is about 30 hours of gameplay here, although if you’re familiar with Chrono Trigger, there is not as much time-hopping or world traveling in this game. However, this is where I would start on Xbox Game Pass, especially if you are a fan of RPGs.

Ben 10: Power Trip

Ben 10: Powertrip features Ben Tennyson, a now-famous character known best from the cartoon. Ben uses his Omnitrix to change into various alien creatures. In this adventure, Ben is vacationing in Europe when evil magician Hex threatens his world with the power of four mysterious crystals. The world is 3D and supports multi-player. Be sure to check out this game while it’s still here, as it features all of the fun and zaniness of the Cartoon Network show, but instead on Xbox Game Pass!

Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay

Paw Patrol is generally for younger audiences. It is a puzzle platform game that features the Paw Patrol, a team of rescue dogs starring the pup Ryder. This is a super popular franchise that is currently on Netflix. The game is about another heroic adventure to save Adventure Bay. There is a fallen meteor that grants the team powers and they must use their skills and teamwork to prevail. The game has 7 missions and 7 mini-games. Since it is geared at children, the gameplay mechanics are simple and the controls are user-friendly. The mini-games also make this suitable for younger children.

Borderlands 3

Borderlands 3 is a first-person loot shooter. You can play alone or with parties of up to 4 people. There are 4 classes available and you can take on missions given out by NPCs (Non-Playable Characters). The game introduces 4 new characters: Amara, the siren, Moze, a “young gunner”, Zane an operative, and FL4k, a robot. You can blast through multiple worlds as a Vault Hunter seeking treasure and your adventure will start on the planet Pandora. Borderline 3 builds on the lore of the Borderland games and has fresh characters, but some fans are not happy about the lack of depth of the characters–especially how the villains are portrayed.

This War of Mine: Final Cut

This War of Mine was released to celebrate 11-Bit Studios’ 5th anniversary. It is a major content update to This War of Mine. It is set in the fictional city of Pogoren, Graznavia, and is a survival-themed strategy game. The goal of the game is to stay alive during the war as a civilian. It is currently a single-player game and there are no plans for multiplayer or cooperative gameplay. This is a very realistic game and gives players the feeling of actually having experienced war, so a quick trigger warning here.
