Angel Reese's Mom Cries After Sky Star's Personal Revelation

Angel Reese's mom, who shares the same name as the Chicago Sky star, couldn't hide her emotions after the WNBA star delivered some major personal news.

Reese had her mom, Angel Webb Reese, as a guest in the latest episode of her "Unapologetically Angel" podcast. During the interview, which was apparently filmed during the matriarch's birthday, the Sky forward surprised her mom with the news that her mortgage has been paid off.

"You said that if your mortgage was paid off, that you would retire or you can pick if you want to work still," Reese said. "Your mortgage today has been paid."

The news absolutely shocked Reese's mom, who almost dropped the cake that her daughter gave her.

Reese's mom then got emotional and tried to hide her face as she cried. The WNBA standout proceeded to hug her mother.

Aside from the big surprise, Angel Reese also told her mom that she's planning to buy a house in Chicago and that she's free to visit and stay with her whenever she wants to.

Reese also made sure to celebrate her mom's special day by singing her a birthday song.

It's definitely a heartwarming mother-and-daughter moment, something that Reese and her mom will remember for a long time.
