Lexie Hull played well on Sunday as the Indiana Fever traveled to the Bay Area to battle the Golden State Valkyries. The 6-foot-1 guard registered eight points, six rebounds, an assist and two triples in 33 minutes of action. It wasn’t enough to help Indiana overcome their opponents, though, with the Valkyries securing a crucial 75-63 home win at Chase Center.

Hull looked noticeably different in Sunday’s game. After all, there was no hiding the two prominent black eyes she had, which she sustained after a painful head collision in Indiana’s 95-75 win over the Seattle Storm on Aug. 25.

Being the tough woman that she is, Hull did not miss any time because of the facial injury. She’s played in both of Indiana’s games following her knock one week ago — black eye and all.

On Monday, Hull took to Instagram to proudly share a few photos of her battle scars.

Caitlin Clark, who currently has no timetable for her return to action from a lingering groin injury, and a number of Fever players wasted no time showing their support to Hull.

"Go Lex " Clark wrote in the comments section.

“way to use your noggin’ Lex ” posted Sophie Cunningham.

"Get it Lexieeeee" reacted guard Aerial Powers.

"Sexy Lexie back at it againnnn" said Chloe Bibby.

“Sexy lex❤️” Makayla Timpson commented.

“I think you should keep them ” suggested former Indiana player Katie Lou Samuelson.

"caption 10/10" the Fever posted, praising Hull for her song choice of "Get’cha Head in the Game."

Hull’s black eyes will eventually fade away, but her show of toughness and grit will remain in the hearts and minds of her teammates and that of the Indiana faithful.

Hull has played in all 40 games for the Fever this season, putting up averages of 7.0 points, 4.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.3 triples in 26.9 minutes per contest.
