The Indiana Fever marked a historic milestone in franchise history on Tuesday night. This came in the form of their first-ever Commissioner's Cup championship after Indiana defeated the defending champs, the Minnesota Lynx, on their own home floor, 74-59.

Caitlin Clark was unable to suit up for the clash due to a lingering groin injury, but the newly crowned WNBA All-Star Game captain made sure to take part in the postgame celebrations.

This included shotgunning a can of beer in front of her teammates — an act that captured the attention of NFL icon and ESPN analyst Pat McAfee.

"Just saw this video of CC shotgunning a beer during her team’s Commissioner’s Cup Celebraish last night.. " McAfee posted on X, sharing a video of Clark's antics.

" CHUGGING BEERS WITH THE SQUAD #LEADER #DAWG #GOTTHEFEVER"

McAfee, who spent his entire eight-year NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts, is an Indiana fan. The former All-Pro kicker has shown his support for Clark and the Fever in the past, and it is clear that McAfee was left impressed by the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year's beer-chugging skills here.

Clark and the rest of the squad, however, have had to keep their celebrations at bay as they face another tough matchup ahead. They return to action on Thursday to host A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces.

Indiana will be at a significant disadvantage again after Clark was ruled out for the Aces matchup due to the same groin issue. That will be the 23-year-old's fourth missed contest. Her next chance to play would be on Saturday against the Los Angeles Sparks
