NJPW is loading up the cards for their two-night Wrestling Dontaku event on May 3 and 4.

NJPW announced the lineups for the shows. The May 3 event will be headlined by Nic Nemeth defending the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship against Hiroshi Tanahashi. Nemeth previously issued the challenge for a match, but it was delayed when Tanahashi suffered an ankle injury.

Plus, Zack Sabre Jr. will defend the NJPW World Television Championship against Jeff Cobb. Sabre Jr. beat Matt Riddle to win the gold at NJPW Windy City Riot, and Cobb confronted him after the bell.

Additionally, Jon Moxley, Shota Umino, and El Desperado will face HOUSE of Torture, and David Finlay will face Yota Tsuji.

Jon Moxley To Defend World Title

The card for the May 4 event is loaded as well. Jon Moxley will make his first defense of the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship. He will put the title on the line against Ren Narita, who attacked him after he won the gold at NJPW Windy City Riot. Moxley beat Tetsuya Naito to win the title and was blindsided by Narita.

Elsewhere on the show, Gabe Kidd will challenge Shingo Takagi for the NEVER Openweight Championship, and Bishamon will defend the IWGP Tag Team Championship against KENTA and Chase Owens.

Finally, Nic Nemeth and Hiroshi Tanahashi will team up to face SANADA and Taichi.

WrestleZone will have coverage of NJPW Wrestling Dontaku once it airs.
