Scott Norton loved spending time with Owen Hart in Japan.

The pair spent time in New Japan Pro Wrestling together before Norton moved to WCW in 1995. A bizarre photoshoot showing the pair arm wrestling has gone down in infamy, and the former IWGP Heavyweight Champion has revealed the details behind it.

Speaking with Wrestling Shoot Interviews, Scott Norton was asked about the photoshoot with Owen Hart in Japan. Norton recalled tales of Hart ribbing him and other talent, including dying wrestlers’ toothpaste to turn their teeth yellow!

“The office took good care of on that day and uh we just went and did a photo shoot and uh it was a heck of a time, because that went on between the shows. Owen was great. I mean, he was a ribber from day one brother”

“He got his shots in, believe me. I mean, Owen, uh, he was, he—he got everybody. I mean, uh, some would end up in your bag, you go to put your dab something, you know, the jars open. Or you go to put a pair of shorts on and your toothpaste is in your shorts, or something like that, you know? Or yeah, he didn’t get me with it but I think he got, uh, was Malenko or somebody put dye in his toothpaste. So when you brush your teeth, your teeth turn yellow.”
