Is Drake Next Celebrity To Join WWE After Rhea Ripley Admission

Drake has confirmed he is a Rhea Ripley fan although he doesn't think the WWE star is a member of Team Drizzy. The Canadian rapper has made appearances at PLE, including Elimination Chamber in his hometown of Toronto, Canada.

"My Muse" - Drake Is A Rhea Ripley Fan

Rhea Ripley's star power has seen her become one of the biggest names in the pro wrestling business, and her fame has taken her beyond the ring. The Australian is among the top ten most followed wrestlers on Instagram, currently boasting six million followers.

One of her followers is @champagnepapi and she has the honor of being among only 3,470 accounts the 'Nokia' rapper follows. But judging by his admiration of Mami, it might not be too long until he's doing his own rendition of Eminem's 'Stan'.

Drake spoke to Bobbi Althoff on her podcast Not This Again and revealed he was a fan of the former Women's World Champion:

"My FYP page is just all Rhea Ripley. She’s a wrestler, she’s like my muse but she’s…I’m the opposite of everything that she, likes."

The 38-year-old, who recently stole the show while headlining UK festival Wireless in a unique three-night event, wasn't lying when he said he is "the opposite" of what Ripley likes. He doesn't appear to be followed by the RAW star, and her entrance song 'Demon in Your Dreams' is a heavy metal banger by 'Motionless in White' rather than one of Aub's soothing R&B classics off his album 'Take Care'.

Ripley is married to AEW star Buddy Matthews and tied the knot with her fellow Australian back in June 2024. They have been together since 2021 and their relationship continued even after Matthews left WWE for AEW in June of that year.

Could Drake Make A WWE Appearance?

Drake's attendance at Elimination Chamber went unannounced and unnoticed on the night, but he witnessed one of the hottest shows in WWE history. John Cena shockingly turned heel, aligning with The Rock and Drizzy's old friend turned foe, Travis Scott.

It appeared that Scott was set for a part-time run with the company and would join the growing list of celebrities who try out pro wrestling. Jelly Roll and Bad Bunny are among those to have competed in matches over the years, while YouTuber Logan Paul has become an active member of the roster and recently earned huge acclaim for his match against John Cena at Clash in Paris.

Travis Scott and WWE's relationship has reportedly soured but that could open the door for a possible agreement with Drake. He responded to US rapper Lil Yachty with a post on Instagram soon after Elimination Chamber, saying "I'm sold".

Triple H has been eager to keep eyes on the product by using celebrities for more interest, and there isn't a bigger rap artist on the planet than Drake (unless you're a Kendrick Lamar fan). He has just missed WWE returning to Canada during mid-August, but there are several shows on the horizon that he could rock up at, including Wrestlepalooza on September 21.
