WARNING: This article contains results and spoilers from WWE Monday Night Raw for September 1, 2025. You have been warned! It's the fallout from WWE's Clash in Paris, and The Vision's grip on Monday Night Raw seems stronger than ever. Seth Rollins retained after pinning CM Punk in the main event that also featured Jey Uso and LA Knight, and although Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were banned from ringside, Becky Lynch made the assist to ensure Rollins retained over his biggest rival.
Other matches on the card include Dominik Mysterio defending his Intercontinental Championship against AJ Styles, The Kabuki Warriors face off against Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez, and Stephanie Vaquer finally gets her answer as to when she'll get her Women's World Championship match, and who it will be against.
One of the most exciting things on a weekly basis on Monday Night Raw is the World Heavyweight Championship picture, and even after the fallout of Clash in Paris, it remains healthy, competitive, and dynamic. After brutal losses for all three men, Jey Uso, LA Knight, and CM Punk continue to jockey for position as the face of Raw on Netflix.
With each person having a proper gripe and stake in gaining (Knight) or regaining (Punk, Uso) the Big Gold 2.0, it's anyone's game right now, and there's nothing more exciting on the show than this four-way dance. With The Vision firmly in control of the Monday night scene, and with both Sami Zayn and Penta out of the picture for now, the volley between Jey Uso, LA Knight, and CM Punk continues to provide the most compelling story on Monday Night Raw as the foils to Rollins, his stable, and to each other.
We now have our Women's World Championship match set for Wrestlepalooza, and one of two women will be the next champion: Stephanie Vaquer or IYO SKY. While SKY has held the championship, it feels like it's time to crown Vaquer the new Women's World Champion and set the course for a new path in Naomi's absence.
Vaquer feels like the best option to start this long-term story build, as she's consistently been the most popular and entertaining performer in the women's division since being called up from NXT. Her win sets the table for a Punk/Uso/Knight/Rollins-type feud between SKY, Vaquer, Ripley, and Naomi when she eventually returns to reclaim what's hers, and also gets us closer to the proper Rhea Ripley/Stephanie Vaquer match, hopefully by the time we hit Survivor Series: WarGames this November.
