Sportsday:
What's this?
A Cowboys receiver goes out and has a big day and is nothing but mild-mannered afterward? Believe it.
Miles Austin was offering no quotes about "popcorn" after he caught six balls for 171 yards and a pair of touchdowns Sunday.
From Austin: "We have a long way to go as a team. It's a good win. It's a big stepping stone. We are going to try hard this week and come in next week ready to play. I just went out and tried to play to the best of my ability. I'm going to play as hard as I can and that's all I can do."
Austin said he and Tony Romo are communicating better.
"We're talking about different routes and he's getting the ball to me and we're making plays where we can. I mean [Marion] Barber is making good plays. Everyone is making good plays when they get the opportunity. That's all we can do."

Keeping Austin dry
In two explosive starts, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin has shown one weakness. He sweats profusely.

The Anatomy of Miles Austin's 59-Yard Touchdown
By Josh AlperWe've taken a lot of shots at Cowboys offensive coordinator Jason Garrett on these pages this season, particularly his habit of calling formations and plays that fail because they are too clever by half. It's only fair, then, that we take a moment to point out when he does something very right and gets little to no credit for it.Miles Austin's 59-yard touchdown...

Crayton Is Moaning And Williams Is Groaning
When Wade Phillips correctly made the move to promote wide receiver Miles Austin to the starting offense, replacing Patrick Crayton, I bet he never expected to get so much blow-back.

Romo, Austin fuel Cowboys' air show to down Falcons
Tony Romo returned to his swashbuckling style, keeping drives alive by improvising and turning one near-disaster into a touchdown, and Miles Austin proved his breakout game was no fluke by coming up with big play after big play, leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 37-21 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
