Mark Buehrle led the White Sox to victory in grand fashion today, by tossing a perfect game, and his second career no-hitter. His first came on April 18th, 2007, also at U.S. Comiscular Field. This is only the 18th perfect game in MLB history, Randy Johnson being the last to do so in 2004. The magnificent performance improved...

Mark Buerhle has just thrown the first perfect game in five years against the Tampa Bay Rays.
Dewayne Wise, who was put in the game as a defensive replacement in the ninth inning, saved the perfect game, no-hitter, and the shutout by leaping the center field wall and bringing back a home run hit by Gabe Kapler.
Michael Ramirez then struck out, and with the crowd on its feet...
