After an almost excruciatingly long lay-off, the ALCS will finally begin tomorrow night at Yankee Stadium, weather permitting. The coming rain storm will likely lengthen what was already being thought of as a long series. The schedule-makers will have their hands full trying to reschedule games for this ALCS.Looking past Mother Nature, the series breaks down like this:Offense. The Yankee lineup is the most potent in all of baseball. However, the Angels are no pushovers. They may not have as much power, but they know how to get on base. Most importantly, they know how to run the bases. In a playoff series this is crucial. The Yankees are not terrible at running the bases, but they're not as good as the Angels. Edge, Angels.Defense. The Angels are very sound defensively, at just about every position on the field.
