Indians Baseball Insider:
In the 20th round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select catcher Shane Rowland from the University of Tampa (FL).
Born: 11/22/1991 - Height: 5'8" - Weight: 168 - Bats: Left - Throws: Right
Jeff Ellis: Rowland is the son of the Yankees Director of International Scouting. He was a well known name out of high school. He is an athletic player who has an advanced feel for the catching position. He is a solid defender, but the bat is the question. After one year at Miami he transferred out only hitting .175 that year. He struggled to hit at Tampa University and seems to have lost his starting spot there this year. I could find no injury, so I have to assume his struggles with the bat moved him to the bench. He is a glove guy, so he might be able to challenge Roberto Perez for top defender at the catching position. He has gold glove upside, but will never have an average hit tool. He might be no more than a back up, but defense will be what gets him to the majors.
BEST OF MAXIM

Born: 08/01/1991 - Height: 6'6" - Weight: 215 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right
Jeff Ellis: Milbrath is an intriguing arm. First off he is huge at 6'6". Second, he has really not pitched since high school until this spring and there was...
In the 22nd round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select right-handed pitcher Ben Heller from Olivet Nazarene University (IL).
Born: 08/05/1991 - Height: 6'3" - Weight: 205 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right
Jeff Ellis: Heller strikes me as a senior sign depth player who is going to fill a few roles for the Indians. He has been a starter all four years at school. He...

Born: 11/21/1994 - Height: 6'3" - Weight: 200 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right
Jeff Ellis: His dad is the scouting advisor/crosschecker for the Indians and he was actually in the war room when the pick was made. I found he is 6'3" and is...
In the 34th round of the 2013 Draft the Cleveland Indians select right-handed pitcher Dustin Cook, a redraft from San Jacinto College (TX).
Born: 11/03/1993 - Height: 6'5" - Weight: 220 - Bats: Right - Throws: Right

Cleveland Indians right-hander Carlos Carrasco has had his suspension for throwing at a hitter reduced from eight to seven games.
