The NASCAR season is back upon us and it is time to get you caught up with everything that happened in the offseason. Start ‘N’ Park Blog will be going through their list of drivers running the full schedule in 2013 and telling you what you can expect from those drivers in the new year. Today’s entry is the driver of the #1 McDonald’s Chevrolet, Jamie McMurray. Driver: Jamie McMurray #1 Sponsor(s): McDonald’s/Cessna/Bass Pro Shops/LiftMaster/Banana Boat Make: Chevrolet Team: Earnhardt-Ganassi Racing Crew Chief: Kevin Manion 2012 Finish: 21st What’s new for 2013: McMurray welcomes Cessna on to his #1 Chevrolet for the 2013 season. They will fill a big hole left by Bass Pro Shops leaving (minus two races) for Stewart-Haas Racing. Another big change for this team is using Hendrick Motorsports made engines rather than Earnhardt-Childress Racing engines. Mike’s Rank: 25th Mike’s Take: I think the Hendrick engines will help this team finish a bit higher than last year, but the team made next to no changes. You’ve struggled the past two years, and you change nothing? I can’t get on board with that at all. Last year I said if they struggled again they need to blow it up, I’ll say that again this year. Jason’s Rank: 21st Jason’s Take: McMurray will be off all season and not have the finishes his team is looking for. A win at Daytona or Talladega is possible but, some luck will be implemented in the victory. Brandon’s Rank: 21st Brandon’s Take: After having a very successful 2010 season, McMurray has fallen off the map.  After a ton of changes, McMurray may be fighting for his ride in 2013 if he doesn’t provide CGR with solid finishes and or wins. Brittany’s Rank: 22nd Brittany’s Take: I’ve seen those commercials that say you are what you eat, McMurray will be weighed down by fries this year.
