The Colts have confirmed that cornerback Marlin Jackson will miss the rest of the season after injuring his left knee in practice. The Colts also announced Friday that wide receiver Anthony Gonzalez underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee Thursday and safety Bob Sanders visited noted surgeon Dr. James Andrews to gather additional information about his injured left elbow.

Although Friday the 13th is a week away, this week’s injury announcements might make a Colts fan double-check the date. Tyjuan Hagler, Marlin Jackson, and Bob Sanders were all placed on injured reserve this week, ending their seasons. Kelvin Hayden and Anthony Gonzalez injuries will also keep them from playing for four weeks or more, even though both were expected back healthy weeks ago.
