Barfield to Columbus, Perez added to roster Josh Barfield has been demoted to Columbus to make room for new relief pitcher Chris Perez. This is no surprise since Cabrera was actived before yesterday's game, meaning Barfield went from almost completely useless to entirely useless on the Indians roster.
