On Sept. 1st teams could expand their active rosters to include the entire 40man roster. Since then the Mets have gone two players over 25 men with the return of David Wright and the call-up of Josh Thole.They currently have 44 players on the the roster but five players are on the 60 day DL, leaving them one roster spot.
