Just as fast as SI.com could spread the rumor, the Atlanta Braves General Manager Frank Wren has squashed the rumor that the Braves were planning to meet with Cuban defector Aroldis Chapman. The SI.com story referenced two unnamed sources who said that the Braves were planning to meet with Chapman, but Mark Bowman, Braves.com beat writer, sought clarification from Wren who said, "We don't have any plans to meet with him at this time."
