Canadiens sign F Chipchura to one-year deal

TEAMS: Montreal Canadiens, San Jose Sharks
PLAYERS: Kyle Chipchura, Travis Moen, Paul Mara

Forward Kyle Chipchura has signed a one-year contract with the Montreal Canadiens. Saturday's move comes a day after the Canadiens announced a three-year deal for forward Travis Moen and a one-year contract for free-agent defenseman Paul Mara. The 6-foot-2, 204-pound Chipchura had three assists and five penalty minutes in 13 regular-season games.
