The Dallas Cowboys sealed the win at Philadelphia on Sunday night when quarterback Tony Romo got the ball to tight end Jason Witten for a five-yard gain on a third-and-three from the Cowboys 46. That allowed the Cowboys to run out the remaining 1:58.
Philadelphia coach Andy Reid suggested his defense erred in not focusing on Witten.
``We probably should have thought about Witten a little more there, to be honest with you,'' Reid said.
How the Eagles could not stack the defense against Witten in that situation is mind-boggling. At that point, Romo was 4-for-4 on third-down passes to Witten.

Philadelphia sacked Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo for the fourth time in the game during the third quarter, but the Eagles did not use one of their customary blizes. Defensive end Trent Cole won a one-on-one battle against tackle Flozell Adams and dropped Romo.

PHILADELPHIA - Roy Williams complained last week that he wasn't getting any catchable balls from Tony Romo.
But so far that hasn't been the case tonight. They're 2 for 2, with Williams picking up gains of 21 and 13 yards.

Today was a great sports day for me....considering that NONE of my favorite teams actually played today.
It started off grand as I watched Duke lose, at home, to Virginia Tech. Now, V-Tech is a veteran squad....especially by current ACC standards....but they aren't in the top half in the conference this year. Still, it was nice to see that the Hokies "out-Duke'd"...
