DALLAS - The Cowboys had high hopes for Sam Hurd after he put together an impressive training camp.
But he fizzled out of the gate and got lost in the long shadow cast by Miles Austin.
That is until last Sunday.
Hurd's 36-yard catch-and-run TD was a thing of beauty. After making he catch over the middle, he outran two linebackers down the Seattle sideline and then outmaneuvered four defenders inside the 10 to get into the end zone.
