The Evil Empire:
According to Sam Borden, Melky Cabrera may have suffered a full left hamstring tear last night and could be done for the remainder of the World Series. Brian Cashman told him that the Yankees doctors will evaluate Melky within the next few hours.
If he is done, "the Yankees are allowed to petition for a roster change." Cashman also said that the player that would replace Melky would be one of the guys who is currently with the team so they'll add either Freddy Guzman or Francisco Cervelli.
