Even without their top two big men, the Lakers had no trouble with the Hornets. Kobe Bryant and Co. cruised to a 104-88 win, as Andrew Bynum and Pau Gasol sat out with injuries.
For the first time in quite a while....there are a multitude of MVP candidates and most have a realistic shot at winning the thing. While there are about 10 candidates [Elton Brand, Pau Gasol, Carmelo Anthony, Tony Parker are others] there is only six guys who look to have a shot at bringing home the hardware.Â
