Lyle Overbay for Chris Snyder Overbay's on-base skills would be a welcome addition in the Diamondbacks lineup. He is owed $7 million next season in the final year of his contract. He turns 33 in January. Snyder is owed at least $11.25 million through 2011 -- $4.75 million in 2010, $5.75 million in 2011 with a $6.75 million option/$750,000 buyout in 2012 -- so if no money changes hands in the deal, the Diamondbacks would save $4.25 million over two years.
