Not that there was much suspense, but it's safe to say Calvin Johnson's a lock to play Sunday. The Lions released receiver John Standeford on Saturday, and he'd been serving as the fourth receiver while Johnson was sidelined the last few weeks.

Via News beat writer John Niyo's Twitter feed, we learned the Detroit Lions released WR John Standeford. Standeford played in all of 2 games, catching 1 pass for 5 yards. At least he didn't get a goose egg in his latest go round in Detroit.
Replacing Standeford on the 53 man roster was DT Joe Cohen, who was signed from the practice squad.
