The Indiana football team picked up its first Big Ten Conference win on Saturday with a decisive 38-20 victory against the Iowa Hawkeyes at Kinnick Statdium. Indiana quarterback Kellen Lewis accounted for three touchdowns and threw for over 300 yards while Josiah Sears ran for two more scores to pace the Indiana offense.

After dropping its last six matches, the Michigan State volleyball team (15-8, 3-8) downed the Iowa Hawkeyes, 3-0 (25-22, 25-17, 25-20), on Friday in Jenison Field House. As a result of the loss, the Hawkeyes are now 11-12 overall and 3-8 in conference action. Leading all attackers with 13 kills on the night was sophomore Becca Zlabis (Wheaton, Ill.), hitting a stellar .417.
