Kings announce summer league roster, schedule
Three veteran players will be on the roster when the Kings open NBA Summer League play, the team announced Wednesday.
Veterans Donte Greene, Spencer Hawes and Jason Thompson are set to participate in the league, which runs July 10-19. They will be joined by 12 rookies or free agents, including first-round draft picks Tyreke Evans and Omri Casspi.

Diogu might stay; McCants out
As the beginning of the free agency process approached Tuesday, Kings basketball president Geoff Petrie said the club would not extend qualifying offers to reserves Ike Diogu and Rashad McCants.
Both players were scheduled to become unrestricted free agents and able to sign with any team after Tuesday's 9 p.m. deadline.
While the Kings have no interest in re-signing McCants...
