Sportsday:
Dallas Cowboys outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware did not have a sack in Sunday's win against Philadelphia, but his pass rush helped prevent a touchdown in the second quarter.
Operating from the Cowboys 35, Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb tried to get a deep ball to wide receiver Jeremy Maclin, who had pulled away from cornerback Mike Jenkins and safety Ken Hamin. Ware hit McNabb's arm just as he delivered the ball, and the pass fluttered short of Maclin, open in the end zone. The Eagles settled for a field goal on the possession.
``There were opportunities in the game where I could have connected with him (Maclin) or connected with DeSean (Jackson), but it goes back to that one play,'' McNabb said.

Cleveland Show Style Tips: Donovan McNabb or Michael Irvin?
Aside from the Cleveland Show being force fed down our eyeballs during the rain delay in the World Series, I've yet to watch the cartoon. Reader John D. sends along this clip from Sunday's episode begging the question, who do you turn to for style tips: Irvin or McNabb? [video below]
Any fans of the show out there? Worth a watch?

Eagles’ Proudly Display Flaws In Typical Eagles Loss
You want to go to Andy Reid's school of clock management? See Donovan McNabb's feet throwing extravaganza? Marvel at mind numbingly stupid play calling and execution on 3rd and 1? You got it!
The Eagles lost to the Cowboys tonight, a game in which I believe they were the better team, in a fashion that we have seen so many times before. McNabb inconsistent, Reid stubborn...
A Case For Victor Butler
If Dallas Cowboys rookie linebacker Victor Butler does not make that shoestring tackle of Donovan McNabb late in last night’s 20-16 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, Cowboys fans very well could have seen a different outcome.
Butler, who was in because of an injured Anthony Spencer, may be undersized at his position. But when he has [...]
Next question on T.O.
For the first time since 2003, Donovan McNabb was not asked a question about Terrell Owens during his conference call with the local media.
I told McNabb we might have set a record by not asking about his former teammate.
"Well, I can ask y'all about it then," McNabb said.
So did you miss those questions?
"No, I don't," McNabb said. "Y'all have a good one."
But Philadelphia...
Official explanation for Eagles' touchdown
The Cowboys challenged Donovan McNabb's 11-yard touchdown throw to tight end Brent Celek, saying the Philadelphia quarterback had gone beyond the line of scrimmage before throwing.
Referee Walt Coleman reviewed the play and upheld the call. According to Coleman, McNabb had his right foot behind the line. For the penalty to be called, the passer's entire body must be beyond...
Big game for Ratliff
Dallas Cowboys noseguard Jay Ratliff needed less than 20 minutes of playing time to record the second multi-sack game of his career.
Ratliff dropped Philadelphia quarterback Donovan McNabb twice in the span of 10 plays during the first half. Ratliff, in his 59th career game, had his previous multi-sack game against Washingotn on Nov. 16, 2008. He also had two sacks in that game.
NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS ARE SUPER BOWL CHAMPIONS!!!!!
It wasn’t the best Super Bowl….but it did have some drama. The biggest lead was 10 points...and it seemed both teams played well defensively, cautious offensively and solid on special teams. I’ll touch on some moments to remember from this Super Bowl….excluding the site of Patriots owner Robert Kraft being interviewed celebratory and drunk on NFL Network.

Cowboys defense digs in
Philadelphia's third offensive possession was not a good one.
Keith Brooking and Jay Ratliff sacked quarterback Donovan McNabb on back-to-back plays. After Ratliff got to McNabb, he was pushed into left tackle Jason Peters, who had to be helped off the field.
If Peters can't return, it changes the complexion of this game for the Eagles.
Fooled by own quarterback
After losing a challenge on the placement of the ball after a completion to LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia lined up to go for it on fourth and inches for its 42 in the third quarter. Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb used a hard count that made one of his own players flinch.
Left tackle Jason Peters moved ever so slightly, drawing a false-start penalty. The Eagles changed plans and punted.
Sunday Night Live Chat: Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles
by Adam GretzFiled under: Cowboys, Eagles, NFL Live BloggingAfter a one-week hiatus, Sunday night football returns with a classic NFC East rivalry as Donovan McNabb and the Philadelphia Eagles host Tony Romo and the Dallas Cowboys. As always, we'll be discussing all of the action on the field (and the rest of Sunday's games) in our Sunday Night Football Live Chat. So grab...
McBriar neutralized Eagles
The Dallas Cowboys cornerbacks -- Terence Newman and Mike Jenkins -- prevented Philadelphia wide receiver DeSean Jackson from hitting on his trademark big plays in Sunday's game. Punter Mat McBriar took Jackson out of his return game.
Jackson returned only one of five punts, for nine yards. The other four punts testified to McBriar's growing skills at hang time and directional accuracy...
Eagles Challenged, Lose.
The Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys at the Linc on Sunday night. That sentence is both painful to type and incredibly annoying. Perhaps if nothing else, this game was a reminder of just how easy it is to turn on the Dallas hate. Not really sure where to place the blame after that game. The failed challenges are the first thing that come to mind, but to Andy's defense, I think...
Donovan McNabb Gets Slammed Again
I am not sure if you've been following it....but there is another Donovan McNabb hater. The name is J Whyatt Mondesire...and he's the head of the Philly chapter of the NAACP. He, like Rush Limbaugh and Terrell Owens, basically find McNabb overrated.
A couple of things. Doesn't the head of the Philly chapter of the NAACP have more on his plate than the QB of the Eagles...
Romo's interception string ends
PHILADELPHIA - Trailing 13-10 after Donovan McNabb's 11-yard TD pass to Brent Celek, the Cowboys did what they've done so often in big games under Wade Phillips - commit a turnover.
This time, it was Eagles CB intercepting a Tony Romo pass that went behind Jason Witten.
Romo had gone a career-high three games without an interception, a string that covered 144 attempts.
