Ready?

Lost again.

That game was awful.

Pavano goes seven, gives up two and the offense can't muster anything till the ninth and they get absolutely honked on a call in the seventh.

Chris Perez comes in and welcomes himself to the bullpen with a horrible four runs given up, four runs that extended a lead that would be gone thanks to the three runs they scored in the ninth.

My television is flickering around like a jerkface.

Oh Josh Barfield is gone again.. We just need to get rid of him.

Him and Garko.. Just get them out of here. Stop monkeying around with these two guys, they deserve better.

Really...

The two latest CastroTurfs have everything, but this team has made me so upset I don't really want to devote too much time into saying how much I want to stab them all.

Oh and Cliff Lee trade rumors again? Some front office officials are real desperate. Seriously, cut it out losers.

And the Reds came in second for Mark DeRosa? That's interesting, who knows what they had to offer. I'd take that little guy Danny Herrera, just because he's a little guy and those little guys have some spunk.

Spunk and short entries. DIE.

Chris Perez Officially an Indian

In a move that could have helped Cleveland’s bullpen and raised the white flag at once, Mark DeRosa was sent to St. Louis for a young reliever named Chris Perez. DeRosa, the all out, “play ball like a kid,” kinda guy, gone. How could the trade possibly be worth it? Insert Perez, the 24-year old righty [...]

Daily Farm Report 6/28/09

Quad Cities decides they hate me with a double header today. Batavia shows some love with a postponed game. (It could all be weather related too but the plantes rotating around me beg to differ.) The system goes 3-for-6 and bids a fond farewell to Chris Perez as it waits for the second shoe [...]

MLB notebook: Indians option Barfield

Move clears a roster spot for newly acquired righthander Chris Perez.

Report: Cliff Lee Will Test Free Agency

Fresh off of one of the worst starts of Cliff Lee’s career, we are now also confronted with a recent report by Fox Sports’ Ken Rosenthal that states that the team is most definitely listening to offers for their ace starting pitcher. But why would a team look to trade a guy that they still have [...]

Tribe Trade DeRosa to Cards for RHP Chris Perez

Well the move that I've been silently waiting for finally happened.I've been expecting Mark DeRosa to be traded for a few weeks now. Part of me was hoping it wouldn't happen, another part was okay if it did.I feel the same way this morning.I also figured that it would be the Cardinals that he got traded to. With the Cards not having Troy Glaus, DeRosa fits. If Glaus comes...

Cardinals - Acquired DeRosa

St. Louis Cardinals - Acquired UT Mark DeRosa from the Chicago Cubs for P Chris Perez and a PTBNL. Soto injured? Ramirez injured and out? Harden actually being bad rather than injured? Ask a certain subset of Cubs fans and you won't hear any of these reasons given as to why the Cubs are 35-36. Instead, you'll hear stories about the loss of scrappy Mark DeRosa, who, along...

Cards Trade for DeRosa

Many Cardinal fans got their wish tonight, as General Manager John Mozeliak pulled the trigger on a deal with the Cleveland Indians. The Cardinals get third baseman Mark DeRosa in exchange for reliever Chris Perez and a player to be named later. DeRosa, a 6′1″ right-hander, brings his .270 batting average and 13 home runs over to [...]

Rosenthal On Holliday, Lee, Jays

On the MLB Network, Ken Rosenthal says he wouldn't be surprised to see the Indians deal Cliff Lee. Here are the details and the rest of his rumors: There's a good chance Matt Holliday will be dealt, though the A's aren't shopping him now. They say they'd have to be impressed to deal him, but Rosenthal suggests this is just a more subtle way of asking for...

White Sox rout Indians

Paul Konerko and Jermaine Dye drove in two runs apiece, Chicago chased Cleveland ace Cliff Lee in the fourth inning and the White Sox pounded the miserable Indians 11-4 in a game called in the seventh inning on Tuesday night to move above .500 for the first time since May 2.

Good call, JR

John Russell seemingly never starts Brandon Moss against lefties. That’s why we were stunned a few days ago when Moss got the start against Cliff Lee, one of the toughest left handers in the game. Turns out that was just a flash in the pan; Delwyn Young got the nod tonight against lefty Bruce Chen, [...]

Konerko hit a two-run homer in the first for Chicago, which has won four straight and 11 of 15. The White...
