Dallas Cowboys And The NFL:
One day after suggesting that Tony Romo was to blame for his lack of production, Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Roy Williams said he's no Terrell Owens.
"I'm not a T.O., or I'm not trying to be a T.O.," Williams told reporters Wednesday in Irving. "I don't know why people are trying to put me in that category, because I'm happy to win. I've said that 100 times."
Williams said Wednesday he was puzzled that he hasn't been able to connect with Romo, saying that Romo's passes to him have usually been off target.
Romo has completed less than 40 percent of his passes to Williams. Romo's percentages to the team's other receivers and tight end Jason Witten are greater.
"All I said was that when it comes to me, it's not there," Williams said. "The percentages...back my case. But we're trying to fix it."

Roy Williams likes Philadelphia
Going to Philadelphia could be what Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams needs to emerge from his season-long slump. Playing before the Eagles' braying home crowd has brought out the best in Williams.
He has had two 100-yard games in three career starts at Philadelphia. That includes nine catches for a career-high 204 yards and one touchdown while with Detroit on Sept. 23, 2007...
Roy Williams Will Not Have You Mistaking Him for TO, Thank You
I don't know what it is about sports that makes us enjoy the valleys of our rivals almost as much as our own teams' peaks. I believe the Germans call it schadenfreude, and try as I might (not really) to be above it, I can't help but get a laugh when a Cowboys star tries to detonate his cresting team.
Kulp mentioned yesterday that Roy Williams, the "stud" receiver...
Eagles safety Quintin Mikill on Tony Romo
Eagles safety Quintin Mikell is seeing a little different Tony Romo this year.
"I think he's taken a lot more on himself," McDermott said. "He's making a lot of plays on his own. I'm not saying that the guys aren't helping him out, but we in the past has created turnovers or gotten sacks and he's able to shake off guys or create longer plays by using his feet, getting outside the...
Roy Williams doesn't know what's wrong
The Tony Romo-to-Roy Williams connection has been more miss than hit this season - and last - and each Wednesday Williams stands by his locker answering the same questions.
Again. And again. And again.
And Williams keeps saying the same thing: he doesn't know why they're not connecting. He didn't and hasn't taken shots at Tony Romo or Jason Garrett like you know who would have...
Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams unhappy, says he, Tony Romo not on same page
Cowboys WR Roy Williams says he's 'not even close' to being on the same page as Tony Romo.
Is it time to make a change?
We have all heard the stories going back to the off-season. About how Tony Romo and Roy Williams were spending time together trying to get to know each other, trying to get their timing together, trying to get the chemistry going. All of that talk moved into the preseason and once again we all watched [...]
The Sweet Smell Of Bull Crap
Oh yeah, this is believable: Roy Williams has not had good experiences on the field against the Eagles, and he says his family was not treated well by the fans because they were wearing Cowboys gear during their visit. “My...
Roy Williams: ‘I’m the Number One Receiver’
Dallas Cowboys receiver Roy Williams seemed a bit defensive today when he was asked about his current role with the team. “Number two” receiver Miles Austin has been piling up catches and headlines the past three weeks as a starter (21 receptions, 482 yards, five TDs) while Roy nursed some sore ribs and thought about his poor production since joining the Cowboys 16 games ago...

Your NFL Game Of The Week: Cowboys vs Eagles
Dallas Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles, Sunday 8:20 p.m.
Coming into week nine, I’m 6-2 with my GOTW picks. And with the Eagles and Cowboys on deck, I look to make it 7-2. Week nine comes with other big matchups including Cincinnati vs. Baltimore, Houston vs. Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh vs. Denver, but nothing trumps a game between Dallas and Philly. Especially when both...

When the Cowboys run
Averaging 147.6 yards a game on the ground, the Cowboys are ranked sixth in the NFL but haven't had a running back have a 100-yard game since Week 2. Philadelphia hasn't allowed a rusher to have more than 87 yards in a game this year, but they have shown a tendency to wear down. Plus Marion Barber and Felix Jones are healthier. EDGE: Cowboys

Witten A True Test To Defense's Coverage Mettle
As they are watching film this week and seeing an explosive Dallas offense, the Eagles defense is certainly noticing the exploits of wide receiver Miles Austin, who has been sensational. And quarterback Tony Romo looks as good as he has ever looked, and the running game is quick, powerful and deep with talent.
