Bugs & Cranks:
-Disappointing loss for the Phillies, considering how good they’ve been at home for the last few postseasons. You had to figure though that the Yankees offense was going to bust out at least once in the series; there are too many good hitters in the line-up to average two runs a game for the series.
-Still, Cole Hamels clearly just doesn’t have it right now. I’ve been harping all post season on the point that I don’t think the Phillies can win the whole thing unless Hamels pitches them to a victory at some point. Given how well Cliff Lee has pitched, and how excellent the Philadelphia line-up is, I’m not sure that’s still the case. However, how scared is every...
